Five devices.
Zero shared memory.

Every person in your family has their own AI. But none of them talk to each other. None of them remember what matters. You’re still the one holding it all together — and that’s exhausting.

Separate AI assistants
The average household runs 5 individual AI tools — none of which know each other exist
0
Shared context
Every device, every app starts from scratch — no memory, no continuity, no coordination
Mental load
One parent carries the full cognitive weight of the household. Usually you. That ends with Kin.

A $90 billion
gap nobody has filled.

The household AI market is enormous — and completely fragmented. No one has built the shared family layer. Kin owns that category from day one.

340M

Three things Kincierge
does that no one else can.

Kincierge isn’t another AI chatbot. It’s your family’s personal concierge — a living, growing intelligence that knows every member, remembers everything, and executes on your behalf.

Family memory
Knows every member’s allergies, medications, milestones, preferences, and history. Maddox is lactose-free. Nova has guitar on Wednesdays. Dad’s parents visit in March. Nothing slips. Nothing has to be repeated.
Shared scheduling
One family calendar brain. Kin proactively surfaces conflicts, prep reminders, and logistics before you ask. Everyone is always in sync — without any one person having to coordinate it.
Per-member context
Speaks to each family member in their own context. Kids get age-appropriate answers. Parents get the executive summary. Kin knows who is asking — and what they actually need to know.
Kincierge actually executes
Kin doesn’t just remind you — it acts. Book the dentist, reserve the restaurant, plan the vacation, find weekend activities the whole family will love. Every competitor can remind you. Only Kin does it for you — with full family context already loaded.

Kincierge doesn’t remind you.
Kincierge does it for you.

Every competitor stops at reminders. Kin goes further — it acts on your behalf with full family context already loaded. This is where the product becomes truly irreplaceable.

Health & appointments
Kin knows Maddox is due for his 6-month dental cleaning. It finds Dr. Park’s next available slot after 3pm on a weekday, books it, adds it to the family calendar, and sends Valinda a confirmation — without you lifting a finger.
Dining & experiences
Ask Kincierge to book date night Friday — it checks Valinda’s schedule, finds a restaurant that fits your taste profile, confirms availability via OpenTable, makes the reservation, and arranges a babysitter suggestion. Done.
Travel & vacations
Tell Kin you want a family trip in July. It cross-references everyone’s schedules, builds a full itinerary, searches flights and hotels within budget, flags kid-friendly options, and presents a complete trip plan ready to confirm.
Weekend spontaneity
Saturday morning with nothing planned. Ask Kin what the family should do today. It checks the weather, everyone’s energy level, your location, and finds the perfect activity — then books it on the spot. This is Drift, built into Kin.
Pet & home services
Zoey needs a vet visit. The car needs an oil change. The house needs a cleaner before the in-laws arrive. Kincierge manages all of it — finding, booking, and tracking every service your household needs.
Kids & activities
Nova’s been asking about art classes. Maddox wants to try flag football. Kincierge finds local programs that fit the schedule and budget, handles enrollment, adds everything to the calendar, and reminds you about gear needed.

The math works.
Here’s the proof.

Yes — AI inference at scale is expensive. Here’s exactly how Kin’s revenue model outpaces infrastructure costs as we grow, and what the bridge looks like before we get there.

Monthly cost per household

Claude API (AI inference)~$3.50
Pinecone vector storage~$1.20
Supabase + Vercel hosting~$0.80
Twilio + booking APIs~$0.50
Total cost per household ~$6/mo

Assumes avg. 40 AI interactions/day per household. Drops significantly with caching, batching, and volume discounts at scale.

Revenue per household

Monthly subscription$25.00
Infrastructure cost−$6.00
Payment processing (Stripe)−$0.75
Gross margin per household ~$18.25

73% gross margin. Every new household is immediately accretive. No physical goods, no per-unit manufacturing cost, no inventory.

Revenue vs. infrastructure at scale

Households Monthly Revenue Infra Cost Gross Profit Margin
Demo (10) $250 ~$200 $50 20%
Launch (100) $2,500 ~$800 $1,700 68%
Growth (1,000) $25,000 ~$6,000 $19,000 76%
Scale (10,000) $250,000 ~$45,000 $205,000 82%
Unicorn (100,000) $2,500,000 ~$350,000 $2,150,000 86%

Infra costs decrease per-household at scale due to API volume discounts, prompt caching, shared model layers, and infrastructure amortization.

Demo phase
Run Kincierge as a controlled demo with 10–20 families. Real product, real data, minimal spend. Total monthly infra: under $200. Use this to build the pitch, gather testimonials, and prove retention.
Win the competition
The Perplexity Billion Dollar Build prize funds the bridge from demo to launch. $1M covers 6–12 months of infrastructure at 1,000 households while revenue ramps — no outside capital needed to prove the model.
VC bridge to scale
With proven unit economics at 1,000 households (76% gross margin, sub-2% churn), raising a Series A to scale to 100k households is straightforward. The numbers tell the story investors need to hear.
“Once a family has 6 months of memory inside Kin, the switching cost becomes emotional — not just technical.”

No competitor can replicate that data or that execution history. Every month a family stays, Kin gets smarter — about their preferences, their providers, their rhythms. It knows which dentist Nova likes, which restaurants the family returns to, which hotels worked on the last trip. That compounding context, combined with an execution layer that actually acts on your behalf, creates a product that becomes more indispensable every single day. Churn approaches zero. LTV approaches infinite. The wall gets higher with every booking made, every appointment kept, every vacation planned.

Built by people who
live this every day.

Kin isn’t being built by people who’ve never run a household. It’s being built by two fathers who have lived every messy, beautiful, overwhelming moment of family life — and who know exactly what it would mean to have one AI that finally has it all figured out.
